Their works can be enjoyed on a pleasant walk around the town. It has a beach of fine sand near to the fishing port. Due to the ecological interest of its coast, it is included in the Oyambre Natural Park.

Altamira, very near to Santillana, has the most important cave paintings of quaternary art in its caves of the same name. Created by our Palaeolithic ancestors, they depict scenes of bison and stags in a ritual environment. They were declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985.

Located on the cliffs that separate the Playa del Sable beach from the cove of Santa Justa, dating to the 16th century. It is a former medieval watchtower, which served as a whaling observatory, a point of reference for ships, as well as a bastion of defence and patrol of the surveillance.
Located under a spectacular cliff, clean blue water and fine sand make it one of the best beaches for surfing in all of Spain. It has a very lively, young atmosphere.
This is a narrow cape which enters the sea on sudden cliffs. After a short walk, you will be able to enjoy the most spectacular views of the western coast of Cantabria.
It extends around the juncture of the rivers Saja and Besaya, which at their outlet form the Suances esturary. The estuary forms a natural port between cliffs in which many historians place the Roman "Portus Blendium". It is currently a town with a great tourist focus, with beautiful beaches such as La Tablía, La Concha, La Ribera, La Riberuca and Los Locos.
Hermitage constructed in a cave in one of the cliffs over the sea. Dating to the 16th century, consecrated thanks to relics of Saints Justa and Rufina, over time it became a pilgrimage site in the region, one of the first on the Cantabrian coast.
